Key Requirements

Ability to provide leadership, management, planning, scheduling, and coordination of instruction
Experience in curriculum and instructional material development, including assessment of program and student learning outcomes
Skills in student advisement, enrollment, registration, recruitment, and retention activities
Participation in college outreach, committees, community service, and professional development

Full Job Description

Provides leadership, management, planning, scheduling, and coordination of instruction for students in teaching college courses in Commercial Art, participate in curriculum and instructional material development, assessment functions to include program learning outcomes & student learning outcomes, student advisement responsibilities, enrollment & registration, student recruitment & retention activities, participate in college outreach activities, college committees, and community service. Participate in departmental, division, & college planning sessions in actively reaching & communicating the college's mission & goals, & professional development activities.

Requirements

Master’s degree in teaching discipline; Master’s degree in Fine Arts or related field preferred. Demonstrated work experience and competence in advertising, desktop publishing or commercial art with page layout, illustration, and image manipulation software emphasis preferred.
