The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is looking to hire several Dispatchers to work in our fast paced 24 hour Dispatch Center in Harrisburg.

In this position, you will perform public service dispatching work receiving, dispatching, and coordinating information and processes in the PGC Regional Office.
Your responsibilities will include processing both emergency and non-emergency calls from the public, PGC Personnel, or other emergency and non-emergency services.
Accurately obtaining relevant information and effectively relating to or communicating to multiple units, agencies and jurisdictions is essential.
Our team will rely on you to provide quick and accurate information to callers about wildlife related situations and recognize situations that require immediate response by a field officer or input from a supervisor.
In addition, you can expect to perform a variety of general support duties related to communication activities, including record keeping, typing, and filing.
