Job Description

Summary

This internship offers college students a summer opportunity in information technology at the Defense Intelligence Agency, based at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois, where you'll support defense operations through IT tasks.

It focuses on building skills in a secure, mission-driven environment while contributing to national security efforts.

Ideal candidates are tech-savvy undergraduates eager to gain hands-on experience in government IT and committed to teamwork and integrity.

Key Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a college or university program, preferably in information technology or a related field
  • Basic knowledge and experience in IT areas such as systems administration, networking, or cybersecurity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to address assessment factors effectively
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with adherence to ethical and legal standards
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for security clearance (due to sensitive defense work)
  • Availability for summer 2027 at Scott AFB, IL
  • Demonstrated interest in defense intelligence and national service
