This is a summer assistant position with the Office of the Reporter of Decisions at the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C.

Closing Date: Sunday, 03/01/2026, 11:59 PM ET Applicants must meet the following qualifications: 1. Meet education requirements (see below). 2. Work experience, preferably in an office setting. 3.

Previous editing and legal research experience is strongly preferred. 4. Ability to communicate clearly, courteously, and effectively both orally and in writing is required. 5.

Availability for at least eight weeks. Major Duties:

  • The Office of the Reporter of Decisions is responsible for preparing the Court's opinions and orders for publication in the official United States Reports.
