About the Position: This position is a Workforce Manager with the US Army Corps of Engineers Chicago District located in Chicago, IL.
Oversees all major components of the District's Workforce Readiness Program which includes staff planning, recruitment outreach, hiring, sponsorship, and placement, in-processing, training management, awards, management of leader development programs, and provides oversight and coordination for the district mentorship programs.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting in the administration of human resources or workforce development programs (such as staffing, training, or employee recognition); coordinating program activities like training or employee development; and communicating program information to employees and management.
This experience must be equivalent to the work of a GS-11 in the federal service.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
