State Minimum Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, public health, family and consumer sciences, health education or related degree with emphasis on nutrition.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Agency Additional Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in community nutrition along with experience in a clinical, public health or institutional setting, or a bachelor’s degree in any field and experience in a clinical, public health or institutional setting.
Must be able to lift 35 pounds. Must have a valid South Carolina (SC) driver's license and be willing to use their personal car to travel to clinic sites in the region.
The standard work week is 37.5 hours and may require some flexibility to meet the needs of clients and staff health clinics, including evening and weekends.
WIC Nutrition experience. One (1) year of WIC nutrition supervisory experience.
