Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job is for a supervisor who leads a team of welders in a naval shipyard in Hawaii, handling tasks like assigning work, scheduling projects, and ensuring safety and efficiency.
It's ideal for someone with hands-on welding experience who enjoys managing people and improving shop operations.
No strict time requirements exist, but you need to demonstrate strong leadership and technical skills through past work or training.
You will serve as a WELDER SUPERVISOR I in the STRUCTURAL SHOP, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
