Full Job Description

You will serve as a WELDER SUPERVISOR I in the Production Resources Department of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.

Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job.

• You will be planning the assignments of personnel, using equipment, facilitating scheduling qualifications and training and developing specialized skills and procedures.
• You will be providing higher-level supervisors with written and verbal status.
• You will be scheduling, coordinating and directing the accomplishment of work projects or operation in accordance with project needs and schedules.
• You will be developing or providing input to develop processes and procedures for accomplishing the work.
• You will be promoting and administering management programs such as safety, employee ideas, quality assurance, productivity improvement, cost reduction, and energy conservation.
