This job involves inspecting weighing and measuring devices used in businesses to ensure they are accurate and fair, checking packaged goods for correct labeling, and investigating any reports of cheating or fraud in sales.
You'll travel across several counties in central Pennsylvania to do this work from a home base.

In this position, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and accuracy assessments of weighing and measuring instruments utilized in commercial transactions.
Your duties will include examining commodities that are packaged, sold, or offered for sale based on weight, measure, or count, ensuring compliance with established standards.
Additionally, you will perform audits of inspections carried out by Certified Examiners of Weights and Measures to verify their adherence to regulatory requirements.
Furthermore, you will investigate any allegations of fraud or abuse related to these practices, taking appropriate enforcement actions when necessary to uphold integrity and fairness in the marketplace.Interested in learning more?

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
This position is home headquartered in Adams County. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
