This full-time night shift role as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Washington Soldiers Home involves providing hands-on care to veterans in a nursing home setting, such as helping with daily activities, monitoring their safety, and managing documentation for their health needs.
You'll act as a lead nurse in your area and may step in to supervise when needed, all while ensuring residents feel respected and supported.
It's ideal for an experienced LPN who is passionate about serving veterans and comfortable working overnight hours in a team-oriented environment.

Our team is excited to announce we are now accepting applications for a full-time, night shift Licensed Practical Nurse 4 at the Washington Soldiers Home in Orting, Washington!*This position has been posted within the assigned pay range through Step L. Step M has not been published as this is considered the longevity step, in alignment with state HR compensation rules.
Please note: The work schedule will be Friday through Tuesday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. May be required to work overtime shifts.
Hybrid/Telework: This position is not eligible for telework.As a Licensed Practical Nurse 4, you will provide resident-centered care and ensure that our Veterans at the Washington Soldiers Home in Orting are provided a safe and healthy space, treated with dignity and respect, and have care suited to their personal needs.
You will also assist and monitor assigned residents with activities of daily living based on current nursing standards of practice and with a heart for our mission.

Must be able to pass a DSHS BCCU Background Check every two (2) years in accordance with WDVA Policy 615.000 Background Checks.
