In this Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist Manager role with the Department of Labor & Industry, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, Bureau of Central Operations, you will have the chance to achieve your goals and explore professional opportunities by serving as a Bureau Manager for our Management, Systems, and Evaluation Division or our Staff and Agency Support Division.

In this role, you will supervise and manage staff within the Management, Systems, and Evaluation Division or our Staff and Agency Support Division, and several reporting sections and units, while coordinating with the Bureau Director and other Bureau Managers to support broader programmatic operations.
Your responsibilities will involve planning, assigning, and reviewing work; preparing performance evaluations and resolving disciplinary matters; and other significant decision making for day-to-day personnel management within your division.
Your collaboration as part of our leadership team will be vital for supporting statewide planning and oversight of priority initiatives involved in the development and implementation of specialized vocational rehabilitation programs designed to improve services for individuals with disabilities.
This includes providing research and analysis based recommendations to agency leadership that may impact policy and program level decisions, as well as conducting effective meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
