Vocational Rehabilitation Assistant 3 located in Anchorage!

What You Will Be Doing:
The Vocational Rehabilitation Assistant (VRA) 3 provides advanced administrative and client support to vocational rehabilitation staff, assisting individuals with disabilities throughout the rehabilitation process. Responsibilities include coordinating intakes and appointments, processing vendor payments, purchasing services and equipment, maintaining accurate client records, and communicating with clients and service providers. The VRA 3 supports counseling and evaluation teams by managing schedules, tracking documentation, and ensuring timely service delivery. In a lead capacity, the VRA 3 mentors and supports other assistants, oversees workflow, and promotes consistent administrative practices across the region. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this role.

You be working with a team of para-professional and professional staff helping Alaskans with disabilities obtain and maintain employment.

Requirements

One year of journey level experience, providing direct technical and administrative support in the delivery of vocational rehabilitation services. This experience is met by service as a Vocational Rehabilitation Assistant 2 with the State of Alaska or the equivalent with another employer.

OR
Two academic years of education from an accredited college, of which 8 semester hours (equivalent 12 quarter hours) were in a social or behavioral science.
