The Vice President of Human Resources & Organizational Excellence is responsible for shaping how the organization supports, develops, and aligns its people to achieve and designs its systems and processes strategic goals.

This role partners closely with leadership to improve organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and internal systems that enable teams to do their best work.

Provides strategic leadership for human resources and institutional transformation across functional areas.

This position reports to the President and serves as a member of the President’s Cabinet and Executive Council.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.

• Experience in an executive level role with responsibility for institutional-level outcomes

• HR certification (SHRM -SCP or HRCI )

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of people systems, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness
