This job is for a veterinarian at a military veterinary clinic in California, where you'll provide routine check-ups, diagnose and treat illnesses or injuries in pets owned by service members, perform surgeries, and guide animal health assistants.
It's ideal for a licensed vet with hands-on experience in animal care who can handle physical tasks like lifting animals and working in a busy clinic environment.
The role focuses on preventive health advice and maintaining accurate records for privately owned pets.
This position is located at the Lemoore Veterinary Treatment Facility. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Possess a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree, i.e., Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), obtained at a school or college of veterinary medicine accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education (AVMA).
Possess a valid unrestricted state license to practice veterinary medicine (may be a valid state license from any US state). Official transcripts must be provided prior to time of hire.
Unofficial college/university transcripts may be uploaded for initial qualification screening.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess active United States Department of Agriculture/ Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA/APHIS) accreditation.
Physical Requirement: Ability to lift 45 lbs and long periods of standing, restraining, kneeling, reaching and sitting, etc.
Must have use of fingers; Both hand and both legs are required; Position requires exposure to intermittent excessive noise. The information provided on your resume should be clear and specific.
