Full Job Description

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR - TITLE 32, Position Description Number PDD3021000 and is part of the KY 123 AW, National Guard.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the administrative or clerical duties of the position. Experience using computer and automation systems.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 12 months experience in the interpretation and application of Air Force regulations, directives, procedures and policies.

Experience that provided a working knowledge of administrative functions. Experience working independently and setting priorities with very little supervisory control.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment.

(Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only and unspecified work schedule will result in disqualification.

As a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR - TITLE 32, GS-0303-7, you will support the administration of military personnel management programs including requesting personnel actions.

Provide customer service and guidance on organizational personnel policies and procedures. Monitor personnel records and assist with preparing personnel actions.

Assist with maintaining personnel files and electronic records. Participate in tracking training requirements and help coordinate developmental opportunities.

Assist commanders, supervisors, and employees in understanding personnel policies and procedures. Collect, compile, and organize data for reports and briefings.

Assist in maintaining accuracy of personnel records and databases. Support the workflow and assist with assignments among administrative personnel.

Assist higher graded specialists in areas critical to unit operations, ensuring adherence to Air Force policies.

May assist with a variety of administrative tasks such as preparation and dissemination of personnel documents and orders using automated systems; provide basic training and guidance on Defense Travel System (DTS) processes; assist with processing and managing personnel records, evaluations, and official correspondence; maintain deployment documentation; or plan unit training events.

Serve as a point of contact for unit personnel and leadership regarding personnel management and administrative support.

Assist in resolving routine personnel issues by coordinating with the Force Support Squadron and other agencies. Perform other duties as assigned.
