This job is for a delivery driver who picks up and drops off items like mail, medicines, lab samples, and supplies to public health clinics and partners across King County.
The role involves loading vehicles, following routes safely, and handling physical tasks in a warehouse setting to keep health services running smoothly.
It's a good fit for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with driving in busy city and quiet rural areas while lifting heavy loads.

The Public Health Distribution Center operates within the Finance and Administrative Services Division (FASD) of Public Health – Seattle & King County and is organizationally aligned under the Contracts, Procurement & Real Estate Services (CPRES) section.
While CPRES provides leadership and oversight for contracts, procurement, and real estate functions, the Distribution Center is responsible for the department’s logistics operations.
This includes managing deliveries, route services, warehouse functions, and transportation support that ensure clinics and public health programs receive the supplies, specimens transport, pharmacy deliveries, deposits, and interoffice mail services necessary to maintain daily operations.
As part of this administrative structure, the Distribution Center plays a critical operational role in supporting public health services across King County.
The County Delivery Driver supports the daily operations of King County Public Health facilities and partner organizations by picking up and delivering a wide range of materials throughout King County. Typical items include interoffice mail, pharmaceuticals, lab specimens, warehouse supplies, and receipts. This role requires the ability to safely lift at least 60 pounds, operate a pallet jack and hand truck, and drive a full-size cargo van in both city and rural traffic conditions.Commitment To Equity and Social Justice
