This job is for a travel clerk at a military leisure services office in Hawaii, where you'll help people plan trips, book hotels and activities, sell tickets, and handle payments for fun outings on the islands and beyond.
It's perfect for someone friendly who enjoys talking to customers, knows their way around Hawaii, and is comfortable using computers to make reservations.
No advanced degree is needed, just real-world experience in customer service and basic travel booking.
This position is located at Leisure Travel Services at Schofield Barracks Hawaii (Island of Oahu).
Leisure Travel Services provides exceptional military rates for numerous attractions throughout Hawaii and beyond.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Experience which involved dealing with the general public and performing financial transactions.
Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed until the minimum qualifications/duties criteria shown above.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": HIGHLY QUALIFIED CRITERIA: 1.
Proven work experience and knowledge of all Hawaiian Islands to indude the ability to advise customers on where to stay, what to see, and what to do on the islands. 2.
Possess knowledge and experience in booking travel arrangements with airlines, hotels, car rentals, and cruise lines by way of telephone and online booking accommodations. 3.
Possess work experience in booking local attractions in Hawaii. 4. Must possess effective communication skills with customers and reservations telephone line.
Experience advising guidelines and requirements. 5. Experience in providing outstanding customer service. 6.
Must possess one (1) year of work experience with computer programs, point of sale systems (POS), or reservation systems. 7. Must be able to type 40 words per minute on a computer.
