At the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), we’re looking for a motivated professional to join our North Region team in Gaylord as a Design Engineer.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and meaningful construction and infrastructure projects that improve safety, mobility, and quality of life for communities across the northern Lower Peninsula.
In this role, you’ll be able to blend technical design, project coordination, and design construction to support successful project delivery from planning through completion.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on complex transportation projects and create solutions that keep people and goods moving safely and efficiently.

The "Salary" listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate at the entry (9) level through the maximum rate at the advanced (12) level. Based on education and experience, candidates will be reviewed to determine what level they are qualified for.
