About the Position: Serves as a Traffic Management Specialist in the Documentation Management Oversight DMO Section, International Movement Support Branch (G33-IS), International Movement Division (G33), Operations Directorate (G3).

GS-09Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Coordinating transportation activities; (2) Applying transportation regulations to analyze requirements; (3) Utilizing automated transportation systems; and 4) Resolving transportation-related issues.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position.
(Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.
Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

GS-11 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Coordinating transportation activities to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely movement of goods and/or passengers; (2) Utilizing a broad knowledge of freight tender and contract transportation law, procedures, policies, and regulations; (3) Assisting customers with the business processes and operating procedures for shipping cargo utilizing automated transportation systems; (4) Resolving carrier and shipper budget and/or cost disputes; and (5) Providing technical advice and guidance on domestic cargo movements.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position.
(Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
