Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves running aptitude tests for people interested in joining the military, either on paper or using computers, at a processing station or other locations.
The work is part-time and only when needed, so it's ideal for someone reliable who can handle groups of test-takers and follow strict rules.
A good fit would be someone with basic office experience or education who enjoys helping others and is comfortable with technology.
About the Position: Administers written or computer based Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Enlistment Tests at Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) or other remote testing sites to determine individual qualifications for military service enlistment.
This position does not provide guaranteed work hours each week, and work will be assigned on an intermittent "as needed basis".

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as, 1) providing customer service to a variety of individuals; AND 2) utilizes a variety of office automation resources to complete tasks; AND 3) properly maintains work materials.
OR Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.
