Full Job Description
Under general direction, manages, coordinates, and oversees activities related to the design, development, and maintenance support for specialized equipment, software, or databases. Exercises direct supervision over assigned staff.

Requirements
- Directs, manages, and oversees end user support with complex specialized equipment and software.
- Manages the support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment, departmental databases, and technical programs.
- Works with leadership to design, create, and implement departmental databases.
- Identifies departmental technical needs and requirements, and implements necessary changes and improvements.
- Works with department leadership to develop and implement requirements and objectives in building project objectives and program plans.
- Travels to different locations to inspect, evaluate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and technical programs.
- Prepares, reviews, and presents written reports, summaries, and presentations on program.
- Interviews, selects, supervises, develops, evaluates, counsels, and if necessary, disciplines personnel according to established COSA policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) years of experience in database management, system support, or a relevant technical field
- One (1) year of supervisory or lead experience

One year of full-time experience is defined as 30 or more hours worked per week for 12 months.
One year of higher education is defined as 30 credit hours completed at an accredited college or university.
