Base salary range: $37,764 - $49,094
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-5. Bachelor's degree + some experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves providing administrative and clerical support to manage personnel matters for the U.S. Marine Corps, including handling military files, travel orders, and document tracking.
A good fit would be someone with experience in office administration, attention to detail, and familiarity with military or government procedures who enjoys organizing information and assisting with policy development.
You will serve as a SUPPORT SERVICES ASSISTANT (OA) in the S-1/ ADMINSTRATIVE AND MANPOWER SECTION of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in a variety of clerical, administrative and technical duties and responsibilities in support of management; processing and reviewing all categories of Military personnel activities such as Files and Directives, Separations, Temporary Additional Duty (TAD), Permanent Change of Station (PCS), Marine Online (MOL), Accountability Reporting, Visa/Passport administrative processing, Unit Diary Marine Integrated Personnel System (UDMIPS) and Document Tracking Management System (DTMS).
