One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-06) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized Experience For The GS-07 Is Defined As: Experience in conducting research and analysis identifies specialized products, analyzes cost-effective alternatives, and resolves complex, unforeseen purchasing requirements; coordination of a variety of support programs to include but not limited to postal program, implements solutions to resolve complex records management challenges, and assembly, installation, and reconfiguration of workstations.
Physical Effort: Frequently lift, carry or otherwise handle items weighing up to 18 kilograms (40 pounds). Occasionally handle items greater than 18 kilograms.
Heavier items are handled with freight handling equipment or assistance from other workers. Work in a sitting position for extended periods.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, reaching, and stooping is required. Occasionally climbing and working in high places may be required.
Time-In-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement.
Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-06 or higher grade in Federal Service.
** The effective date of your SF-50 must reflect that you will meet the 52-week time in grade requirement within 30 days of the announcement closing.
