This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as inventory management and supply chain management.

OR You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer Service Flexibility Integrity/Honesty Interpersonal Skills Reading Comprehension Reasoning Self-Management Teamwork Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).

Major Duties:

  • Executes purchase requests as primary logistics point of contact.
  • Verifies supply orders under established laboratory contracts.
  • Monitors all orders placed in the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system.
  • Performs government purchases using a Government Purchase Card.
  • Researches issues to determine most effective purchasing methods.
