About the Position: This position is located at Naval Health Clinic, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

OR Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as [insert applicable field(s) of study].

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.

To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9.

Add the two percentages. Qualifications for GS-07 In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06) (GS-07) Major Duties:

  • Perform direct customer service in the punctual and accurate technical screening, filling, and issuing of in-house clinical requisitions for medical/surgical supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain transaction records and obtains information on material availability, furnishes information to customers regarding stock, and maintains liaison with Material Management Department.
  • Process inventory adjustment forms when needed and obtains appropriate signatures.
  • Assist in the coordination of inventory, distribution, and disposal of stock.
  • Required to pick up and deliver medical specimens including temperature controlled specimens, x-rays, and medical records to the outlying clinics, the MTF, and other various locations.
  • FEDEX shipping labels and distribution of all FEDEX shipments for all 5 geographically dispersed clinics across the area will be conducted by the supply tech.
