Full Job Description

This position serves as a Raven Rock Mountain Complex, Logistics Division located at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC).

RRMC is on one of the Nation's premier facilities, providing support to various Department of Defense (DoD) tenants in an all-hazards environment.

Mission Essential Employee: Mission essential employees may be required to report for, or remain at, work in dismissal or closure situations due to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or other emergency situations ( e.g., building closure due to power outage) causing disruptions of government operations, and are required to maintain contact with their supervisor during any dismissal or closure situation unless specifically excused by their supervisor.

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.

You may qualify at the GS-11 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your experience: Performing supply support duties, such as maintaining inventory records, ensuring property accountability for assigned items, and assisting with material acquisition; and Using an automated supply system (such as MAXIMO) to process transactions, track assets, and reconcile supply accounts; and Applying supply and procurement regulations to carry out actions, such as preparing requisitions or making purchases with a Government Purchase Card (GPC); and Assisting in the analysis of supply data by compiling information for reports or helping to identify discrepancies in supply records.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Serves as the authoritative expert for the installation's supply program, exercising overall management and control of the Stock Record Account.

Develops, establishes, and implements supply policies and procedures in accordance with higher headquarters directives, ensuring adequate considerations for supply replenishment, storage, and control.

As the Installation Accountable Officer, maintains direct accountability for a multi-million-dollar inventory consisting of approximately 5,000 line items of repair parts, hazardous materials, and contingency stock.

Manages and ensures the proper execution of monthly cyclic inventories, researches discrepancies, and provides recommendations for adjustments or financial liability investigations.

Manages the comprehensive supply program by projecting budget and material requirements and ensuring the effective and efficient use of allocated funds.

Monitors various supply reports and oversees procurement actions, including Government Purchase Card (GPC) purchasing, to ensure proper payment reconciliation and compliance with established procedures.

Coordinates the material handling, delivery, and security of all incoming supplies and equipment.

Works closely with the Pentagon Police Department to facilitate detailed inspections of incoming shipments at a remote delivery facility and ensures the secure transport and storage of materials.

Utilizes MAXIMO and other automated accounting systems to manage the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) repair parts program.

Provides technical advice on logistics matters to division leadership and procedural guidance to the Supply Operations section on all phases of supply operations.
