About the Position: This position is located in a Military Treatment Facility (MTF).

The primary concern is to provide supply support for timely and effective procurement of supplies, services, and equipment for the MTF and other sites under its jurisdiction, such as Branch Dental Clinic, Vet Clinic, Branch Hospital Who May Apply: Only applicants who meet one of the employment authority categories below are eligible to apply for this job.

OR Substitution of Education: Successfully completion two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.

(Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-03).

Major Duties:

  • Provide supply support for timely and effective procurement of supplies, services, and equipment for the hospital and other sites under its jurisdiction
  • Responsibilities include receiving, reviewing, processing, expediting, and monitoring all incoming requisitions with the use of automated systems.
  • The work requires knowledge of computer systems and terminal operation for basic entry and retrieval of data.
  • Verify completeness of forms by checking for proper signatures, accounting data, dates, adequate descriptions, authorizations and special attention items.
