Exercises initiative, resourcefulness, and judgment in dealing with the problems affecting the management and operations of the Surface Distribution Process Owner (DPO) and other supply chain responsibilities of the Brigade and its area of responsibility(AOR).

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) Overseeing joint operation planning processes such as managing surface distribution movements covering shipping, tracking cargo (in-transit visibility) and providing technical and transportation support.
2.)Conducting port operations; monitoring capabilities of transportation/distribution systems to meet Combatant Command (COCOM) movement timelines; and/or 3.) Analyzing the effectiveness of transportation management and system concepts using doctrine, policy, plans, or procedures.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Human Capital Management Physical Distribution / Transportation Operations Planning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
