Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to oversee security programs at a Navy installation, including reviewing antiterrorism efforts, physical security, and law enforcement to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely.
You'll analyze vulnerabilities, advise on improvements, and prioritize what needs protection most.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Force Protection Operations Division of NSA MECH SECURITY DETACHMENT.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying physical security, law enforcement, anti-terrorism and force protection security policies, principles and practices to review and resolve force protection problems; 2) Conducting surveys and performing analyses to identify the critical security needs and vulnerabilities of facilities; 3) Advising high level security officials on new developments/advances in security to improve the efficiency of agency wide security systems/programs; and 4) Evaluating site/facility engineering drawings to identify potential security deficiencies.
