Full Job Description
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-08 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) conducting full range of complex law enforcement such as interviewing witnesses and interrogating suspects; 2) providing training and guidance on law enforcement regulations and procedures; AND 3) leading or supervising employees in the area of security or law enforcement.
Major Duties:
- Direct, manage and supervise all law enforcement desk operations on an assigned shift.
- Respond to and investigates emergency calls, complaints and other calls for service.
- Review all law enforcement reports and supporting documentation to include substantiating charges for correctness, completeness, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Perform required lifesaving first aid in the event of an emergency as the first responder to an incident until medical emergency personnel arrive.
- Review journals, blotters, critical information reports, serious incident reports and other correspondence as necessary and disseminate them as required by standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure proper receipt, processing and safekeeping of evidence in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain communications with mobile patrol units, access control points, to pass direction and information to Police Officers.
- Develop employee performance standards.
