Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team in planning and overseeing military operations for the U.S.
Marine Corps in the Pacific region, focusing on personnel readiness, contingency responses, and supporting global exercises and training.
A good fit would be someone with military or defense experience in operations planning, strong leadership skills, and the ability to analyze and advise on complex strategic issues in a high-stakes environment.
You will serve as a Supervisory Plans and Operations Specialist in the G-1 Plans & Operations Office of U. S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating operational and concept of plans of the Combatant Commander, U. S.
Pacific Command; Assessing the readiness of COMMARFORPAC forces assigned to various supporting operational plans; Reviewing and updating the personnel readiness assessment war plans and Providing qualified individual arguments to support contingency operations, exercises, training and testing throughout the world in direct support of the Combatant Commander, U.
S.
