THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY METEOROLOGICAL TECHNICIAN, Position Description Number D1816000 and is part of the 107TH ATKW, National Guard.

Military Grades: Enlisted Only GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training performing meteorological watch; and communicating effectively orally and in writing.
Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year equivalent to at least next lower grade level experience, education, or training in applying principles and procedures of various meteorological models and forecasting techniques.
Experience collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating numerous meteorological and oceanographic charts, planning, organizing and coordinating work.
Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. Major Duties:
As a Supervisory Meteorological Technician, GS-1341-11, you will direct the performance of a group of Meteorological Technicians who provide meteorological services, weather observations and forecasts in support of world-wide Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) to ensure mission effectiveness, resource protection, and flight safety.
The base level of work supervised is at the GS-09 level.
