-Experience supporting military personnel (officer and enlisted) with understanding of the military authority and organization structure.

-Experience managing and developing the Department of Defense manpower structure. This position is within the Work Category SUPERVISION AND MANAGEMENT at Work Level SENIOR, Series and Grade GG-0343-14.

  • You will serve as SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST OFFICER in the MANPOWER AND PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT (N1) of NAVAL COMPUTER AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS AREA MASTER STATION ATLANTIC (NCTAMSLANT).
  • You will serve as the Head of the Manpower and Personnel Department and direct military and civilian personnel programs.
  • You will plan, organize, direct, coordinate and provide oversight for the programs and functions of the NCTAMSLANT and its area of responsibilities by developing goals and strategies then analyzing the effectiveness.
  • You will be responsible for devising sound management methodologies in staffing by advising and supporting all departments and regional activities on manning, manpower, and personnel needs.
  • You will be responsible for military manpower programs and for assuring the critical billets are manned.
  • You will lead and direct the workforce, ensuring clear expectations of duties and maintaining full situational awareness of staffing levels for military and civilian positions.
  • You will provide oversight to corporate operation of administrative and support functions of the Command and area of responsibilities by ensuring coordination and communication between department and activities.
  • You will set performance standards and evaluate performance subordinates, using criteria such as quality, timeliness and accuracy.
  • You will develop and submit budget packages to support workforce, labor increases and decreases.
