The primary purpose of this position is: Ensure the operational readiness of all USSF assets in theater by building critical partnerships and presenting data-driven solutions to senior leadership to overcome complex, multi-service sustainment challenges.

Position is designated special-sensitive and requires a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
A non-disclosure agreement must be signed. Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret w/SCI clearance.
This position is designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program.
Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions present a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
It is required that you (a) refrain from the use of illegal drugs and (b) if requested, submit to urinalysis testing.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions, Logistics Management Series 0346 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-03, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-13 or equivalent in the Federal Service.
Specialized experience must include in-depth knowledge of the U.S.
Space Force, DoD, USEUCOM, and USAFRICOM missions, organizational structures, and operational priorities, with the ability to integrate component logistics into the broader joint environment.
Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, provide authoritative counsel to senior leadership, and drive organizational change by developing, coordinating, and implementing logistics and acquisition policy.
Expertise in anticipating and resolving severe operational challenges in dynamic environments, with the ability to align logistics information systems and innovative sustainment strategies with long-term mission goals.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Strategic Logistics & Sustainment Expertise: Mastery of the DoD and U.S.
Space Force supply chain enterprise, with demonstrated ability to manage and resolve highly complex logistical challenges, analyze operational data, and drive sustainment solutions.
DoD & Combatant Command Acumen: In-depth knowledge of the U.S.
Space Force, DoD, USEUCOM, and USAFRICOM missions, organizational structures, and operational priorities, with the ability to integrate component logistics into the broader joint environment.
Executive Leadership & Policy Development: Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, provide authoritative counsel to senior leadership, and drive organizational change by developing, coordinating, and implementing logistics and acquisition policy.
Executive Communication & Influence: High-level skill in articulating complex technical and policy matters with clarity and persuasion to negotiate solutions, influence senior-level decisions, and maintain critical stakeholder relationships.
Strategic Problem-Solving & Innovation: Expertise in anticipating and resolving severe operational challenges in dynamic environments, with the ability to align logistics information systems and innovative sustainment strategies with long-term mission goals.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.
You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Major Duties:
Command & Team Leadership: Supervisory Duties: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities, greater than 25% of the time.
Strategic Policy & lnteragency Partnership: Directs logistics policy and long-range program objectives to guarantee the sustainment of all U.S.
Space Force missions within the USEUCOM and USAFRICOM Areas of Responsibility.
Logistics & Sustainment Enterprise Leadership: Leads the command's logistics and sustainment enterprise, ensuring all USSF missions are supported in accordance with strategic guidance, policies, and procedures.
Operational Readiness & Senior Advisory: Continuously assesses the operational readiness of all support equipment and systems, providing data-driven analysis and actionable recommendations directly to senior leadership.
Logistics Information Systems & Modernization: Serves as the command's focal point for all logistical information systems, overseeing the planning and execution of the IT framework supporting the SPACEFOREUR-AF logistics community.
