Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND ATLANTIC.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Providing technical guidance on information technology security issues to coordinate information technology projects; 2) modifying and adapting precedent system approaches to meet for specialized requirements of new projects; 3) Utilizing knowledge of Information Management (IM)/ Information Technology (IT) and database management principles and methods to determine the most appropriate methods for delivering services and securing information; and 4) Analyzing, installing, configuring, enhancing and/or maintaining the components of an enterprise network and/or systems Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: ???????https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/2200/information-technology-it-management-series-2210-alternative-a/ OR https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/2200/information-technology-it-management-series-2210-alternative-b/ .

• You will plan, distribute, coordinate, and monitor work assignments of others; evaluate work performance and provide feedback to others on their performance; ensure that staff are appropriately selected, utilized, and developed.
• You will provide functional and/or technical support to customers to ensure validation of requirements and delivery of Information Technology capabilities.
• You will ensure hardware meets system requirements in order to provide information technology capabilities.
• You will execute an information technology project from initiation to sustainment to fulfill established requirements that meet specified business missions.
