This job involves leading a team that provides IT support for logistics in naval aviation, including planning resources, advising on technical issues, and ensuring systems run smoothly worldwide.
You'll supervise staff, manage budgets, and work closely with other groups to solve problems and meet customer needs.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the Digital Networks & Applications Department (DNA) and Digital Analytics infrastructure and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
This position serves as the Logistics IT Support Branch Head who will act as a technical advisor, reporting to and advising DNA leadership and customers on issues and solutions within DNA's area of responsibility.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band (NM-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2.
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.

Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
Additionally, specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Fulfilling the duties of organizational planning and execution, evaluating critical core skills, executing resource management of staffing, planning and controlling fiscal resources, and implementing administrative management practices; 2) Providing liaison and communications with Logistics groups in addition to managing embedded Logistics IT personnel; 3) Defining and documenting IT requirements and IT solutions to enable the fielding of Aviation Maintenance and Logistics Information Systems worldwide (i.e.
Naval Aviation Maintenance and Logistics Information Systems); 4) Exercising direct supervision over subordinate personnel; 5) Demonstrating independent judgment in directing subordinates, to include assigning responsibilities, providing guidance, and establishing standards of performance; 6) Establishing and explaining expected goals and assessing overall performance in reaching these objectives; and 7) Creating, revising, or reviewing policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organizational design for the staff, as necessary, to eliminate work problems or barriers to mission accomplishment, promote team building, implement quality improvements, or in response with regulatory compliance and/or customer requirements.
