This job involves leading a team of engineers and scientists in the naval aviation sector, focusing on integrating human factors into system design, modifications, and updates for military equipment.
The role requires overseeing projects from early development through acquisition and support, while mentoring staff and representing the team in high-level meetings.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/SCIENTIST in the HUMAN SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DEPT, SYSTEM ENGRG & INTEGR DIV of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Providing overall management and technical direction of the assigned workforce, processes, and products; 2) Understanding of the interrelationships between Human Systems disciplines to effectively guide employee development and meet customer demand signals; 3) Ensuring effective planning, development, and execution of programs; 4) Demonstrating knowledge of Human Systems Integration policies, processes, tools, and procedures; 5) Demonstrating detailed knowledge related to systems engineering and integration; and 6) Utilizing project management/coordination policies, processes, procedures, and responsibilities.
