Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supervise and direct subordinate personnel through establishment of IT goals and objectives.

Manage the development of technical requirements to meet the IT Program's functional requirements. Oversee the development and maintenance of an organization's enterprise architecture.

Provide program management over engineering projects including planning, policy, coordinating with IT Program Management branches and for technical support.

Facilitate the application of system engineering methodologies in the implementation of system designs.

Examples of Qualifying Experience: GS-5 through GS-15 (or equivalent): For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

  • You will oversee the development and maintenance of the MSC enterprise architecture.
  • You will provide program mgmt. over all engineering projects in the planning, policy, coordinating with IT Program Mgmt. branches for tech support (cybersecurity and operations), budgetary responsibilities and oversight, and contract management.
  • You will supervise and direct subordinate personnel through establishment goals and objectives regarding all IT projects.
  • You will direct the development of Engineering IT solutions to meet IT program requirements.
