This job involves leading a team to analyze costs, schedules, and performance for naval air weapons systems, using tools like earned value management to support government acquisition projects.
It requires supervising multi-disciplinary teams, solving technical issues, and briefing leaders on progress.
A good fit would be an experienced engineer or analyst with strong leadership skills and a background in defense or project management who enjoys coordinating complex technical work.
You will serve as a Supervisory Industrial Engineer or Operations Research Analyst in the Systems Acquisition Group, Cost and Analysis Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or pay band DP-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional SUPERVISORY INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER OR OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST performing duties such as: 1) Applying knowledge of the concepts, principles, and methods of earned value, contractor schedule analysis, and government schedule development for air weapons systems/subsystems and acquisition strategies; 2) Providing overall technical direction and leadership to multi-disciplined teams and coordinating functions between various groups to complete earned value, contractor schedule analysis, and government schedule development products; 3) Communicating earned value, contractor schedule analysis, and government schedule development briefs at various leadership levels.
