Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of HR professionals focused on classifying job positions and recruiting talent for the Navy, including advising managers on hiring strategies and ensuring positions are properly graded and titled.
It's ideal for someone with strong HR experience in government or similar settings who enjoys mentoring staff and solving organizational challenges.
A good fit would be a seasoned HR specialist ready to supervise and guide recruitment efforts in a military context.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASS/RECRUIT) in the Commander Navy Installation Command (CNIC) of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting and advising on and implementing OPM classification standards and Qualification standards; 2)Providing advisory services to management on a wide variety of classification processes and requirements; 3) Advising management on recruitment strategies and sources and special programs; 4) Advising on the development and implementation of staffing plans; 5) Advising management on reorganizations or reduction in staff; and 6) Mentoring and training both journey level and developmental staff on policies, procedures and technical staffing/classification laws rules and regulations.
