Base salary range: $21,996 - $27,534

This job involves leading a team at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to drive healthcare innovations, such as new payment models and better care delivery, by managing data analysis, building partnerships with outside groups, and advising top leaders on policy changes.

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation(CMMI), Division of Analysis & Networks (DAN).
As a Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-15, you will provide leadership and executive direction for implementing assigned programs, oversee the development and implementation of data analytics, stakeholder networks and targeted communications and outreach strategies.

In order to qualify for the GS-15, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: 1) Developing and sustaining networks (e.g., partnering with entities outside of one's own organization) of health care industry stakeholders to implement, communicate and disseminate health care strategies initiatives; AND 2) Collaborating with governmental (Federal or State) payers to develop or implement health policies or programs; AND 3) Using data to drive support participation in health policy tests (e.g., innovative payment or care delivery models).
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
