Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team in analyzing costs, schedules, and performance for naval air weapons projects, ensuring projects stay on track through methods like earned value management.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a Supervisory General Business and Industry Specialist in the Systems Acquisition Group, Costs and Schedule Analysis Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or pay band DP-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized Experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of the concepts, principles, and methods of earned value, contractor schedule analysis, and government schedule development for air weapons systems/subsystems and acquisition strategies; 2) Providing overall technical direction and leadership to multi-disciplined teams and coordinating functions between various groups to complete earned value, contractor schedule analysis, and government schedule development products; 3) Communicating earned value, contractor schedule analysis, and government schedule development briefs at various leadership levels.

  • You will resolve technical problems, review work, and provide answers to employees and supervisors’ questions.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of analyses and other products developed for assigned program/project.
  • You will maintain working knowledge of the latest operations research or industrial engineering theories, methods, and techniques associated specifically with Earned Value Management (EVM) and related professional disciplines.
  • You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
