Please see Additional Information section below.*** You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER in the Fire and Emergency Service of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing Supervision for Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS) Programs, Automated External Defibrillators (AED) Program, and annual training and certification requirements And oversight, quality assurance, inventory management, record maintenance, control of pharmaceutical drugs and overall administration of the EMS program.

Major Duties:

  • You will Develop, produce, organize, and schedule complete instructional and training programs for the EMS Program
  • You will Implement proper disposal and storage of soiled supplies IAW operational policies and procedures
  • You will ensure all pre-hospital patient care to include reporting forms, personnel records, ambulance Maintenace records, dispatch records and call reports are maintained for a period of 5 years.
  • You will ensure all equipment and EMS supplies for ambulances meet the requirement of the Board of Health.
  • You will develop, implement. monitor and coordinate various EMS programs such as Quality Improvement, Infection Control, Equipment/ Supply Management, public relations, field emergencies and training events.
