You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess at least two of the following: Experience: One year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Analyzing financial information, recommending and/or developing methodology for the efficient use of resources.

Major Duties:

As a Supervisory Financial Program Specialist, GS-0501-13 you will perform the following duties: Provides advice and guidance on areas such as risk management, internal controls, analysis of work processes and financial management.

Directs a subordinate and diverse workforce. Performs and oversees analytical review of Accounts Payable including internal controls, compliance, and policy reviews.

Ensures transactions are timely and accurate for their areas of responsibility. Provides financial reports to operating program officials for appropriate action, information and/or planning purposes.
