To be considered qualified for this position you must meet the following qualification requirements for the respective grade level in which you are applying.
You qualify for the GS-14 level (starting salary $143,913.00) if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level performing duties such as: Managing appropriated funds and/or programs to adhere with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Evaluating financial data, cost analysis, and financial programs to ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
Providing financial advice to senior leadership related to budget formulation, execution, and financial reporting. Overseeing financial management personnel to meet agency objectives.
Time-in-Grade Requirements: Under competitive merit promotion procedures, any individual who is currently holding, or who has held within the previous 52 weeks, a General Schedule position under a non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service, must meet "time-in-grade" requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the grade for which you are applying).
Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to current competitive service employees applying for a Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment.
NOTE: All current or former Federal employees must provide a copy of their SF-50, "Notice of Personnel Action" that indicates proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility.
The SF-50 must include your position, title, series, grade, step, tenure (1 or 2), and type of service (Competitive or Excepted). You may need to submit more than one SF-50 to comply.

Typical work assignments include: The incumbent serves as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst responsible for leading financial operations, budget execution, and strategic financial planning within the division.
The incumbent conducts financial forecasting, budget formulation, and expenditure tracking, ensuring funds are properly allocated for meet operation needs.
The incumbent directs comprehensive financial analyses and program evaluation to promote fiscal accountability and resource optimization.
The incumbent develops long-range and short-range financial strategies in alignment with agency objectives and operational requirements.
The incumbent conducts in-depth financial studies to assess program cost-effectiveness, lifecycle costs, and future budgetary projections.
The incumbent is responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing financial management personnel, ensuring effective performance, professional development, and operational efficiency.
The incumbent plans, assigns, and directs the work of financial analyst and administrative staff, establishing priorities to mee mission-critical deadlines.
