Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the Facility Planning and Maintenance Branch of PSNS and IMF.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: working in multi-disciplinary project teams and responsible for providing technical leadership within a complex industrial environment, consistent with the demands of a naval shipyard.

  • You will be responsible for staffing, developing and presenting the SRM and MILCON Programs
  • You will assign and coordinate the work of the staff in the interest of overall Production Engineering and Facilities Division objectives ensuring timely completion, budgetary requirements, and quality of assigned work.
  • You will exercise creativity to ensure optimum use of limited funds and resources to meet the ever-changing needs of projects and programs administered within existing regulations.
  • You will direct the preparation of Infrastructure Investment Plans consistent with the Navy's Shore Facilities Planning Systems and the comprehensive regional planning processes.
