Job Description

Summary

This supervisory role at the Defense Intelligence Agency involves leading efforts to provide cover support and counterintelligence assistance to protect operations and personnel in the Department of Defense.

  • Expertise in interpreting CI and cover policies to align with DoD mission goals
  • Skill in building and maintaining relationships with senior leaders, peers, and subordinates in the Defense Cover Program
  • Experience assisting in developing new policies based on past experiences and future challenges
  • Graduate of advanced courses in technicians, planners, or due diligence, or equivalent cover support experience
  • Background in developing, implementing, and managing cover, cover support, and sponsorship for DoD and non-DoD organizations
  • Counterintelligence or HUMINT certification

Demonstrates polished oral and written communication skills to compose, tailor, and deliver original presentations and papers on abstract and exceptionally complex questions or issues in a way that allows a varied audience to understand the intended message and objectives 2.

Anticipates customer’s CI and/or Cover Support needs and identifies appropriate solutions, requirements, and guides and/or informs CI activities to achieve the appropriate outcomes. 3.

Interprets CI and/or Cover objectives, policies, and architecture to help the DoD drive towards its mission goals. 4.

Builds, maintains, and leverages constructive relationships with senior leadership, peers, and subordinate personnel within Defense Cover Program DoD/IC 5.

Assists in developing new policy considering previous policy and future challenges HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1.

Graduate of Advance Technicians, Advance Planners, and Due Diligence courses or equivalent experience providing cover support. 2.

Experience developing, implementing, and managing cover, cover support, and cover sponsorship for DoD and non-DoD organizations. 3. Counterintelligence or HUMINT certification. Major Duties:
