About: OCSPP This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis (location TBD after candidate selected).

In addition to the basic entry education requirements, you must have specialized experience and/or directly related education as described below: To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as leading a multidisciplinary team, project or scientific program to synthesize scientific/technical data to resolve technical or regulatory issues, and support regulatory decisions; developing, interpreting, and/or implementing regulations, guidelines, and/or policies related to the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA); and establishing and/or monitoring performance measures to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and progress of a team.

You will: Lead Branch activities and collaborate to develop human health and environmental risk mitigation measures for new and existing chemicals in support of the Office's programs.
Supervise scientific and administrative staff, including training, coaching and mentoring branch personnel, to support the organizational mission.
Provide technical, policy, and administrative direction for Branch's efforts to review new chemical and biotechnology submissions to support Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) regulatory activities.
Serve as a consultant on various workgroups, panels, or committees to establish or maintain partnerships with Agency partners and external stakeholders.
You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
