Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Electromagnetic Spectrum Warfare Systems Department (WX), Platform Protection & Countermeasures Technologies Division (WXR), Surface Offboard Countermeasures Engineering Branch (WXRW), Decoy Sustainment Engineering Section (soon to be retitled to Decoy Launching Systems Section) (WXRWL) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing technical performance data to recommend and implement system process improvement solutions for the sustainment of an engineering program.

  • You will be responsible for providing engineering, logistics, and technical leadership for Decoy Sustainment Engineering Section (soon to be retitled to Decoy Launching Systems Section).
  • You will develop solutions to technical and supply chain challenges discovered during design, initial fielding, production, and sustainment by utilizing system performance measures and other data sources.
  • You will recommend and implement system improvements via the systems engineering process.
  • You will develop engineering baselines and analysis of performance data for new or improved products and lead engineering change efforts.
  • You will be responsible for providing technical information required for delivery of installation related drawings.
  • You will supply key data related to the scheduling, kitting, and installation of decoy launching systems.
