THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN (TITLE 5), Position Description Number NGT5149000 and is part of the TN ARMY National Guard.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training involving arithmetic principles, attention to detail, and application of established procedures for recording and compiling data.
Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 30 months experience, education, or training in administrative, professional or technical work that provided the opportunity to acquire knowledge of management principles, practices, methods and techniques.
Experience must have been in one functional area of accounting which included making objective and logical determination of facts.
Experience developing, coordinating and maintaining an integrated accounting system. Major Duties:
As a SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN, GS-0525-10, you will exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
Develop goals and objectives that integrate organizational and Comptroller Division objectives.
Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with other Comptroller Division supervisors, unit supervisors, supported organizations, and higher headquarters.
Develop, modify and/or interpret performance standards. Determine appropriate recommendations for unresolved or questionable problems and perform follow-up. Perform other duties as assigned.
